Fee Regulations for the International Master's Degree in Systems Engineering
at the Munich University of Applied Sciences

 

The University of Applied Sciences in Munich hereby adopts the following regulations on tuition fees on the basis of Art. 71, para. 8, of the Bavarian Higher Education Act (Bayerisches Hochschulgesetz or BayHSchG) and Art. 1 para. 1 No. 2, Art. 5 para. 1 of the Higher Education Scales of Fees Regulations (Hochschulgebührenverordnung or HschGebV):

 

§1 Scope

This Fee Regulations are effective for participants in the continuous education program of the International Master's Degree in Systems Engineering at the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
 

§2 Application of the Fees

Fees become due for students who enroll or re-enroll at the Munich University of Applied Sciences according to the Study and Examination Regulations for the International Master's Degree in Systems Engineering.
 

§ 3 Amount of Fees and Deadlines

(1)     The fee for the enrollment in the International Master's Degree in Systems Engineering is Euro 14,970.-. The fee is payable in three installments of Euro 4,990.- each. The first installment is due four weeks after written proof of admission to the Master's course. The two further installments are due at the deadline dates for re-enrollment for the second and third study semesters. The Munich University of Applied Sciences is payee.

(2)     The University of Applied Sciences is under no obligation to refund already paid fees in the event that the course is interrupted or prematurely dropped without final grade except cases covered under § 4.

(3)     The fees for the Master's course do not relieve the students from their other payment obligations against the University and especially there is no relief from paying the student union fee. No other fees are imposed.
 

$ 4 Reduction of Fees

(1)     If a student applies to be removed from the register of students four weeks after the beginning of the course at the latest, the total fee is reduced by Euro 9,000.-. If a student applies to be removed from the students' register later than four weeks after the beginning of the first semester but not later than four weeks after the beginning of the second semester, the tuition fee is reduced by Euro 4,500.-.

(2)     The fee cannot be reduced if removal from the students' register takes place later than four weeks after the start of the second study semester.
 

§ 5 Effect

These fee regulations take effect with publication at the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
